My wife and I enjoyed the location of Beck's the most. It's pretty much right in the middle of The Castro and it's within walking distance to everything! Need some aspirin? Walgreens is down the street. How about some coffee at a quaint cafe? There are several, please take your pick! The point is, we loved, loved, LOVED the location!

The gentleman at the front desk, I believe his name was Ed, was super helpful in telling us how to get around on public transit and things to see. Great location within the Castro for getting around. I would stay here again for sure!

Beck's Motor Lodge exceeded my expectations! We were given a large room facing a quiet residential street, so we didn’t have the noise from Market St. The large room was newly updated with a simple, retro vibe, which added a nice touch. Though our stay was short and we didn't need to do laundry, I noticed the coin laundry that looked very clean. The real highlight was the free parking, saving us from the outrageous rates charged by bigger hotel chains. The location was perfect for walking to nearby neighborhoods or catching public transportation. I’ll definitely stay at Beck’s again on my next trip to SF!

Parking! We drove to SF, which can be problematic when it comes to parking. Loved the friendly staff. Loved that we got a quiet room (a King). Loved that we could open the windows and let in the fresh clean air. Super easy, will stay here again.

The location is perfect - it's just a couple blocks to the Castro and surrounded by restaurants and bars. The staff were super friendly and accommodating.

Our room was spacious, and had a desk with two chairs that enabled us both to sit and work or eat. There was a sun deck which was fun, and the bathroom was large, and had a toilet which was separate from the washbasins which was very convenient for two people.

It’s clean, modern bathroom, good quality WiFi and the free parking is a great bonus. Furthermore it’s located in a nice neighbourhood with lots of restaurant and shops. Painted ladies at walking distance (if you’re European)
